BATS 4TH ISSUE LAUNCH

Yesterday was the 4th Issue Bats Launch! It was really great fun, I exhibited again but not the same way as last time - Wheres Wally lost a few of my paper army. Here are some photos from the day! Pretty sure there is a video by Thrashingteens.com coming soon, so I'll keep a look out :)

BATS + BEDROOM SUCK

The weekend of the 29th and 30th is shaping up to be very decent indeed!

First on the 29th Bedroom Suck Records brings you Autumn Exchange!

and THEN the very next day Bats Magazine bring you their 4th issue launch! Yes, paper people will be up at the event (haha I feel so spesh my logo is even on the poster, woo, moving up in the world PPP, one poster at a time...)



The last Bats launch was a fucking blast so it is totally worth coming along to this one!

Bedroom Suck Records

If you know of Yardhand then you SHOULD know of Bedroom Suck Records. It's Yardhand, but in music form (if you have ever tried to imagine this, you need not any more, as it exists IRL LOL) Yardhand does cool stuff like this:



So his art in music form is about as fucking rad as that.

Okay so yeah I am the slackest person on the planet and was supposed to have this done like a day and a half ago (sorry Navy Birds...) but yes I finally did it. Don't have a scan of them yet but that can come later, sure. Here is their paper people in pencil form. :)

Junkyaaaaard

Was good, pity I did not stay long.
Here are photos from what I did see - Pear and the Awkward Orchestra. They were SO GOOD.

I sold one giant paper person... No photos of them yet, think I'll nick 'em off Ola.

ALSO tonight Paper People are exhibiting with Yardhand and a few other people at Junkyard! It's at 26 Ahimsa House, West End, so come along and check out my paper friends, plus Yardhands fantastic drawings and the other exhibited talents. Bats (myspace.com/batsmagazine) will be there with there 3rd issue as well :)

So much happening!

Okay so everything Paper People related is hectic as hell right nowwww. At the moment Paper People are going to be in another Loomer poster, as well as the display picture and maybe even the background for Aus Same Teens! Also, all posters aside, Paper People is going to be exhibiting on the 28th at the Junkyard/BoxVintage fashion show... and there is potential for life size paper people to be made, which is so cool, since I have wanted to do that FOREVERRRRR (not really, just since I started PPP really).

ALL OF THAT ASIDE AGAIN, PPP shirts are potential for some time in the future.

Life is very, very good. ;)

To all those people who are part of the project thank you, and look out for yourselves on the posters and junk from now on, I am gonna make you famous ;)
