SPANK'D

Well yes I exhibited at the Empire w/ Georg and a couple others thanks to the lovely ladies at Bats! Unfortunately I couldn't even get into my own exhibit (thank you age of 16) but who cares I had a great night anyway watching Pochahontus with my friend Jojo. Photos from Spank'd @ Empire are up on Rachaels blog, click here to check it owwwwt! :D

Oh and Bats totally have a website now at www.batsmagazine.com ! ;)

Exhibit soon

Yeah I am actually doing an exhibit soon can you believe it? I'd not dead, I'm around. There is a bit happening for the ol' PPP soon. First up thought is this:

Kind of sux being a minor though since I can't actually stay for long (until 9pm, haha) but hey I am just glad to be doing something again! I'm working on some stuff for it.. only a small exhibit but still, come along, it will be a great night :)

I'm using an Alice in Wonderland theme for this night!

BATS 4TH ISSUE LAUNCH

Yesterday was the 4th Issue Bats Launch! It was really great fun, I exhibited again but not the same way as last time - Wheres Wally lost a few of my paper army. Here are some photos from the day! Pretty sure there is a video by Thrashingteens.com coming soon, so I'll keep a look out :)

There are more photos on my Art By Owls myspace, to see them here or on Bats Magazines blog. There are also photos of my friends and I being anti social HERE. :D

FourThousand

Okay so Four Thousand is like the guide to my life. And guess who got a (tiny) mention on Four Thousand.

HELL YES Paper People scored a mention on the Bats Issue Four Launch cut.

Check the article out at Four Thousand!

Oh, life. I love thee.

AND ALSO come to the launch this Saturday!

Friday Night

If you're not there.. We cant be friends anymore.

Paper People were displayed with Georg at the Bats launch! So he is a must to come check out. He is getting pretty famous on the Brisbane art scene. Don't think I have seen work by Rob Scott before but I am keen!

IF YOU LIKE GOOD ART

then visit these two myspace and give them adding love please.

AND Yardhand! They also exhibited at both the Bats Launch and Junkyard with me! Joe from YH making me a skateboard too, what a winner.

Junkyaaaaard

Was good, pity I did not stay long.
Here are photos from what I did see - Pear and the Awkward Orchestra. They were SO GOOD.
Also a couple of scopes of the room, haha.

I sold one giant paper person... No photos of them yet, think I'll nick 'em off Ola.
Purchased 'Obama' by Yardhand too - will post a photo of that later on my other blog (whobuiltthiscity.blogspot.com).

JUNKYARD TONIGHT

I am selling giant paper people. Can't be bothered posting photos yet so if you are going and see one you like buy it. Priced around $10, I guess that's reasonable? Haha I don't even know. Nor do I know how I am actually going to make any transactions. Don't you love how organised I am?

If you want to find me tonight I will (if all goes to plan) be wearing a red spotty frock with white gloves ;) And I will be with Ola who has an amazing mane of blonde hair. Hooray!

Another Loomer Posterrrrr

Hooray for Loomer ;) visit them at myspace.com/loomerloomer.

ALSO tonight Paper People are exhibiting with Yardhand and a few other people at Junkyard! It's at 26 Ahimsa House, West End, so come along and check out my paper friends, plus Yardhands fantastic drawings and the other exhibited talents. Bats (myspace.com/batsmagazine) will be there with there 3rd issue as well :)

So much happening!

Okay so everything Paper People related is hectic as hell right nowwww. At the moment Paper People are going to be in another Loomer poster, as well as the display picture and maybe even the background for Aus Same Teens! Also, all posters aside, Paper People is going to be exhibiting on the 28th at the Junkyard/BoxVintage fashion show... and there is potential for life size paper people to be made, which is so cool, since I have wanted to do that FOREVERRRRR (not really, just since I started PPP really).

ALL OF THAT ASIDE AGAIN, PPP shirts are potential for some time in the future.

Life is very, very good. ;)

To all those people who are part of the project thank you, and look out for yourselves on the posters and junk from now on, I am gonna make you famous ;)
If you want to be a person or have any questions about becoming one please email me anytime! paperpeopleproject@live.com.au
